Junior Footy Round
Our Round 18 clash with West Coast is Junior Footy Round – and we’d love junior footballers to be part of it!
In partnership with Credit Union SA, junior footballers are being offered the exclusive opportunity to get involved in special game-day experiences, including being our junior mascot, tossing the coin and doing a lap of honour.
See below for information on the experiences being offered.
Pre-game lap of honour
- Selected participants will take part in a lap of honour around Adelaide Oval prior to Round 18 v West Coast.
Guard of Honour
- Form the guard of honour as the team runs out onto Adelaide Oval, and through the banner before Round 18 v West Coast.
3/4 time Junior sprint
- Juniors will take part in a sprint race at 3/4 time to win prize money for their local football club.
Junior mascot & meet the team experience
- The chance to be one of 23 junior mascots for Round 18 v West Coast.
- You'll run out onto Adelaide Oval with the team in your club kit.
- Winners will have an exclusive meet and greet with the team at Captains Run the day before the game.
Pre-game ball delivery
- Deliver the game day ball on ground at Adelaide Oval before Round 18 v West Coast.
Pre-game coin toss
- Toss the coin in the middle of Adelaide Oval in the leadup to Round 18 v West Coast
First Goal of the game
- Kick the first goal on Adelaide Oval before the players run out for Round 18 v West Coast.
Junior Thunda experience
- Be our mini mascot for a day.
- Join Thunda on ground, for run out and exclusive on ground activities.
